This free mobile version is not as extensive as the subscription version, and to be honest, it doesn’t get updated as often as the other one, but free is hard to beat. If you have some time to kill and there’s a wireless connection available, why not?

How to Access Zinio Magazines on iPhone / iPod touch

To access the full selection of magazines available through Zinio, you just go straight to their homepage at zinio.com. However, what you really want to check out is the special selection that is available for free, and for that you’ll need to go to this page:  zinio.com/iphone

This page is the Zinio iPhone Newsreader. When click on a magazine, you may be asked to provide an email address, but you can just hit “Cancel” and you will be allowed to proceed even without entering that information.

All the pages in the online editions are high resolution copies of the same pages that are available in the print editions of the magazines.

How to Access Zinio Magazines on Computer

If you want to watch Zinio magazines on your computer as well, there is a simple way. Just have your browser emulate the iPhone Safari browser. This works best if you already have the Safari browser. If you have a PC, you may need to download it from apple.com. (All Macs come shipped with the Safari browser, so if you have a Mac, you won’t need to download anything.)

Open the Safari browser and go to Develop -> User Agent -> Mobile Safari 1.1.3 - iPhone .
